Allen Voor Een Manifesto

This past Monday, Nike launched the rather mysterious A.V.E. or Allen Voor Een-campaign at Precinct 5, which had been dressed up for the occasion: Black top to bottom walls, lifesize manifesto tablets and lion head-logo’s made things feel even more secretive. After some drinks and chats, MC Lentini and Dutch actor Nasrdin Dchar addressed the invitees and demystified a couple of things. Come to find out, this campaign has been created to unite street culture, music, media, fashion and sports, all in support of the Dutch National football team who are set to play at UEFA Euro 2012. All people in attendance were given the opportunity to mark down a date for a photoshoot sporting the all new 2012 Dutch team jersey. In addition, a very limited Nike A.V.E. Destroyer jacket has been produced for a few lucky ones. Check out the photo recap shot by Dennis Branko below and stay tuned for more information!

Nike Air Force 1 “Year of the Dragon”

The latest installment of Nike’s annual lunar year-themed AF1’s celebrates the Chinese Year of the Dragon. The design is inspired by the Amur River, which is locally known as “Black Dragon River”. The black satin upper is detailed with embroidered swirling tides and accented with a reptilian leather Swoosh atop a solid white midsole. Multicolor dragon graphics can be found on the woven tongue label and sockliner. Comes in special AF1 30th anniversary boxing. Tier Zero release available from January 28. In-store only.
