Two of Holland's most infamous artists, Sasa Ostoja and Father Futureback will be showing selected works at 60/62 this Friday and Saturday.
Sasa graduated art school in 2008 and has made designs and illustrations for clothing, magazine, skateboards, children books and the like. Ink and ecoline are his tools of choice. Father Futureback (Boris de Vries) lives and works in The Hague, Holland. He gained a degree in Graphic Design from the Royal Academy Of Arts in 2010. He has his roots in metal, punk and skateboarding culture, but is also inspired by the likes of Richard Meltzer, Klaus Kinski, Fluxus, drinking and more. Apart from working all day, everyday on his drawings, collages, and tattoos, Father Futureback is the lead singer of the Dutch noise band 'Adolf Butler'. For his solo noise projects, he uses the monikers Safe Swim, Sex Court, Women Bloopers, Young Barm, Iron Broom, LAW etc. He's an obsessive record collector and has a weekly radioshow called "Brainfried" at Amsterdam's Red Light Radio. For this exhibition Father has selected drawings from his ongoing series called "Do You Like Reality?", absurdist landscapes, usual and unusual visions on nature and life itself... And most of it has never been posited on Instagram.
