PLOT at FILM &FOAM // November 8 - January 7

PLOT, curated by Eline Mul, Karolien Buurman and Femke Dekker, is a site specific installation created by four artists who will take turns in making &Foam their temporary residency. Each artist will have two weeks to produce his or her own movie, which will then be shown at &Foam for the duration of the exhibition.

Every two weeks the artists will present the results of their residency during a public opening.

On November 20th they invite Shadow Festival director Stefan Majakowski to talk about the work of cinematographer Peter Watkins and show his 1965 classic "War Game". Also on view in PLOT is a selection of works by artists who reinterpret classic cinematic structures by capturing the essence of movie moments in infinite stills or magnifying and altering classic staging notions.
