In the Art Loot project, illustrator Floor van het Nederend combines his autonomous works and applied arts into a comic book and exhibition. He explored the boundaries between high culture and low culture, and took inspiration from comic books and the established art world. The project tells the story of Malvin the Cat, who through coincidence finds out about Panzerfaust, a German officer who after WWII, fled to South America with stolen art. This leads to a deep quest through the dense jungle in search of this officer.
The exhibition consists of the comic book, selected illustrations, and ceramic sculptures in collaboration with Buster Stroucken and Katri Paunu. vernissage on Friday, February 24 17:00 - 22:00, and open on February 25/26 from 13:00-18:00.
