Who are you, and where are you from?
I’m Franklin, from Amsterdam. I release music and DJ as FS Green, and recently also as Midas Hutch.

What keeps you occupied on a daily basis?
During the week; producing music, discovering and listening to new music, curating the Beats playlist on, answering a bunch of e-mails. In the weekend; DJ-ing, and once a month (every first Saturday) host a party called BBQ at Bitterzoet in Amsterdam with [MC] Lentini, SirOJ and Mairo Nawaz.

When did you make your first beat and how?
About 12 years ago, when I was 15 years old. In FL Studio, which I still use today. I still have that beat and the session. It’s super whack.

Where do you see FS Green in 10 years?
I have noooo idea. I’ve been living off doing music only since I’m 21, I’m 27 now. I never thought that would happen 10 years ago. I have no clue where I’ll be at in 10 years from now, but I cross my fingers and hope that I stay as blessed as I am today.

What is your best power piece at the moment?
I recently got a framed picture by André Villers of Picasso rocking Gary Cooper’s hat and holding his revolver. It’s pretty tight.

What is your relationship with Patta and when/where did it start?
My first connection was producing a song [Jiggy Djé- 1] on Patta’s 2008 mixtape 'Popcorn & Pussy'. A couple of months after that I started working in the store... for about 2 years maybe. While working at the store, I also helped curating and producing on other Patta tapes. I also released two EP’s with Patta, ‘Sex, Drugs, Kleding & Centen’ together with Faberyayo, and my solo EP ‘Gowtu’, which both came with an exclusive Patta tee. Nowadays I’m part of Patta Soundsystem, a collective of DJ’s and MC’s.

What is your favourite visual at the moment and why?
I’m intrigued by whatever is going on here:
