Patta proudly presents the next instalment in the ongoing t-shirt series in collaboration with Dana Lixenberg. Amsterdam-born and New York-based Lixenberg studied photography at the London College of Printing and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Lixenberg has exhibited extensively, several books of her work have been published and over the years she has received countless commissions from publications, such as Vibe, The New Yorker and Time. Previously released t-shirts from the series include The Notorious B.I.G., Tupac Shakur, Noam Chomsky and A Tribe Called Quest.

The series continue with Dana’s portrait of critically acclaimed musician PJ Harvey. This photograph was made in a suburban park in Orange, California for the New Yorker in 2001, near the hotel where Harvey was staying. She was touring with U2 as their opening act, something her management thought would help expose her to a wider American audience.

The second shirt features rapper and entrepeneur Master P outside his No Limit Records headquarters in Louisiana in 1997 for Vibe magazine. She recalls the powerful mogul carrying himself like a real "don", surrounded by prolific and talented protégées, a lot of cigar smoke, large amounts of jewelry and flashy cars.

The Patta x Dana Lixenberg shirts featuring PJ Harvey and Master P are the third set of a signature collection of ten t-shirts featuring iconic personalities photographed by Lixenberg, curated by Patta. Both shirts will be available at Patta Amsterdam, London and online on Saturday, November 26.
