BTGBGD consisted of 5 days of different activities and the great hosts from BURT (Belgrade Urban Running Team) gave their best for everyone, including the Patta Running Team, to have a great time. The events started out with a welcoming event, a social run, and a pasta dinner party. Saturday was a non-stop action day: race/cheering, soccer derby, after race party, followed with the BTG park opening ceremony on Sunday. For the last day, everybody got together for a friendly game of running tic-tac-toe. This aftermovie by Nikola Radojičić highlights the good vibes and energy of the BTG weekend!

2 years ago, Top Notch, publishing house Bas Lubberhuizen and Lecturis reissued Ed van der Elsken's iconic 'Amsterdam!' photography book. The book contains pictures of the people and architecture of Amsterdam of the 50s and 60s, all captured in Van der Elsken’s raw and genuine style. For this unique edition, more than 300 photographic negatives were scanned and edited by the Nederlands Fotomuseum (Dutch Photomuseum). The layout was done by the Anthon Beeke collective, who also took care of the make-up of its original edition. The book was reprinted in its original Dutch form and also, for the first time, in English. For this special occasion, Patta produced a limited edition set of shirts emblazoned with van der Elsken’s iconic photography and typography. The book sold out, but has now received a second print run for those who missed out. Get your copy HERE.

Amsterdam is the home to 28 'brugwachterhuisjes'. These historic houses were build for the guard of the city bridges which open for water traffic such as small freight ships and larger leisure boats. These houses are not being used anymore, because the bridges are being controlled through a central point. The town council of Amsterdam plans to transform these houses into luxury hotel suites, thus the houses will lose their historic essence and can't be used by the community and citizens of Amsterdam. The kind people of 'Voor de Amsterdammer' set up a petition to keep these historic houses among the residents of Amsterdam. You can also show support and sign the petition here.

First of all, we would like to thank you all for coming out to obtain a personal pair of our latest collaboration with ASCIS on the GEL-Respector. We always respect and admire your enthusiasm, travelling and braving the weather to support. The release was a great success and hopefully we didn't have to disappoint too many people at the end of the line. We hope you enjoy wearing your pair, and to the lucky few who were awarded a camp set, enjoy that as well. Hope to see you on the next one! For those overseas who missed out, a global release at ASICS Family & Friends retailers is scheduled for March 12! See all stockists at the end of this post.

Crack Magazine is a UK-based independent platform for contemporary culture. The crew came over to Amsterdam to explore the underground dance music scene in the city. With new clubs and festivals popping up daily and relaxed laws allowing clubs to stay open late, the city is a haven for clubbers. Clubs like De School and Melkweg keep the city ticking whilst Red Light Radio and Rush Hour provide a platform for homegrown talent. A host of local figureheads guided the Crack crew around the evolving musical landscape of Amsterdam for their latest Destination documentary.
