The Avalanches reached critical and commercial success in 2000 with "Since I Left You", their only album to date. The album received multiple awards and has been widely considered one of the best albums of the 2000s. The group has been working on their second album since at least 2005 and finally broke the 16-year silence this past April with mysterious updates on their social media. Today The Avalanches announced the title and date for their sophomore album Wildflower", releasing on July 8. The announcement is accompanied with a brand new video for their first single "Frankie Sinatra" which guest appearances from Danny Brown and MF Doom.
