In recognition of the opening of One World Observatory in New York City, Earth Cam has released a commemorative time-lapse movie that spans 11 years, from October 2004 to Memorial Day 2015. Hundreds of thousands of high definition images were captured over the past 11 years and hand-edited for this time-lapse movie that takes viewers from the basement of the massive One World Trade Center, all the way to the building's spire, which tops out at 1,792 feet.
