In 1966, the brothers Paul and Jim Van Doren opened the doors to their factory store in Anaheim California. The Van Doren Rubber Company produced in and then sold from the same premises on 704 E. Broadway which is still a very unique business model.
Due to the sticky rubber soles and their sturdy workmanship, skaters from all over Southern California rolled through those doors to purchase the #44 Deck Shoes, which would eventually become the iconic Vans Authentic.
Vans and Patta are back once again for another iteration in their collaborative line-up. Originally released in New York as a part of the Patta New York pop up shop the brightly coloured old skool now makes its way to Amsterdam.
The leather lace cages have jazz stripping and feature embroidery of the 'Got love for all' text. A Team Patta web design is seen on the midsole and with an upper consisting of premium nubuck and nylon, these are about to be your new favourite pair to rock the streets with.
