Patta Autumn Winter 2021 Lookbook

With this collection, we at Patta, aimed to go back to our roots: 90’s Hip Hop. Our founders, Edson and Gee were heavily involved in the early years of the underground Dutch Hip Hop scene, having met each other in the now cult record store and label, Fatbeats, a pillar of underground culture in Amsterdam and its other chapter cities. 

Since then, the Dutch and European Hip Hop scene has gone from strength to strength. This constant growth in the European scene came out of a position of hope and aspiration from people like Gee and Edson approaching and constantly pushing a positive "can-do" attitude in every situation. A genuine belief that something will become good if you keep knocking at the door. This is Hip Hop. It is an underground attitude. Fighting back against oppression and promoting your own culture and the ones you see around you.
