After Rudolf Dassler parted ways with his Brother Adolf in 1948, he founded his own company RUDA and moved across the Aurach river to differentiate between his brother's company adidas and his own. The name RUDA changed to Puma a few months later and the rivalry was on in full fledge. Soon, the brand made a huge impact sponsoring members of the West German national football team and many Olympic medal winners.

Besides athletics, the impact of Puma on pop culture cannot be ignored either, as the Suede and the Clyde played huge parts in the birth of hip-hop and b-boy culture in the 80's.

The Mirage Mox is a Puma design inspired by a pair of their famous running shoes from the 70s. However, for a contemporary look, the designers have transformed this shoe into something special. With contrasting textures, bright colours and some fresh futuristic elements. The Mirage Mox has become a nice buy for everyday wear. Inspired by illusions and the grey area between reality and something straight from a SCI-FI film.
