Founded in the United Kingdom in the late 1950's and now based in Boston, Massachusetts, Reebok was one of the first companies to test spiked shoes. Named after the Afrikaans word for a type of antelope, Reebok was noticed at a US trade shoe in the late 1970s and would be acquired and distributed over there, reaching over a million in sales within a year.
The company has developed now to become a staple in the athleticwear industry. Creating the first gym shoe in the Ex-Gym Hi, and then onto iconic basketball and tennis silhouettes in the InstaPump and Club C models.
Making the most of a soft colour palette, the Reebok Aztrek sees a black mesh upper accompanied by white leather overlays and a nude pink bringing up the accents with embroideries and minor details. Important to mention is the 3M reflective stripes emblazoning the sidewall, and in terms of other technologies, a Hexalite midsole offers support and is flanked by a durable and reliable rubber outsole.
