In 1966, the brothers Paul and Jim Van Doren opened the doors to their factory store in Anaheim California. The Van Doren Rubber Company produced in and then sold from the same premises on 704 E. Broadway which is still a very unique business model.
Due to the sticky rubber soles and their sturdy workmanship, skaters from all over Southern California rolled through those doors to purchase the #44 Deck Shoes, which would eventually become the iconic Vans Authentic.
Vans and Patta are back once again for another iteration in their collaborative line-up. Originally released in New York as a part of the Patta New York pop up shop the sleek mossy green sk8-hi now makes its way to Amsterdam.
The leather lace cages have jazz stripping and feature embroidery of the 'Got love for all' text. The upper has a mix of premium nubuck and nylon to go along with the Team Patta web design on the midsole. All in all, these have absolutely nothing going against them and no matter where you rock them this pair is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
