PATTA GUIDE TO IDFA
IDFA is an international documentary film festival that takes place each November in Amsterdam. Every year, the festival presents a program of around 300 creative documentaries and interactive documentary projects, accompanied by performances, conversations and debates with filmmakers, protagonists and special guests. This year the festival is largely accessible online, allowing you to easily enjoy the latest documentary films and new media projects from your home.
IDFA brings the whole world all the way to your living room. Home viewing also means that you can watch screenings alone or with other film lovers for the price of only one ticket.

Dope Is Death by Mia Donovan (2020)

MLK/FBI by Sam Pollard (2020)
A revealing documentary drawing on declassified documents released by the American government and the FBI that uncovers the steps taken by the intelligence service to bug Martin Luther King and discredit him.
White Noise by Daniel Lombroso (2020)
A glimpse into the extreme right-wing world of alt-right activist Richard Spencer, influencer Lauren Southern and anti-feminist Mike Cernovich. Even they had little idea of what effect their “white noise” would have.
The Black Man in the Cosmos by Kitoko Diva (2019)
This installation connects jazz musician Sun Ra’s Afrofuturist visions and the 1974 film Space Is the Place to the 2016 protests in France prompted by the death of Adama Traoré, following his heavy-handed arrest.
David Byrne's American Utopia by Spike Lee (2020)
Spike Lee’s spellbinding concert film of David Byrne’s Broadway show American Utopia. The former Talking Heads front man sings, talks, and even dances, as he searches for hope and connection—with a touch of politics and activism.
Time by Garrett Bradley (2020)
An impressive portrait of Fox Rich, who raised six sons on her own while fighting the judicial system. Her husband was sentenced to 60 years in prison for a bank robbery with a loot of just a few thousand dollars.
