Our new Desert Trek with footwear heavyweights Clarks acts as a homage to Jamaica. When getting to work with the British OG shoe company, it was quickly apparent that we had to choose the Desert Trek. A silhouette that makes up the roots of their cultural significance in the Carribean it fondly received a nickname from the locals who refer to it as the "Bank Robber". The moniker stems from the Trekman's debossed logo on the heel, and we've coupled it with our namesake by the collar. Forming the rest of the "Bank Robber" are black leather uppers so buttery you'll need a bandits nitrile gloves when handling them. Accentuating the sides is a patent leather panelling to the vamp that brings a sleek, dressy touch and lace tags help tie both leather finishes together further. On the laces - two shades of brown are available, matching the contrast stitching at the sole or a choice a more commanding choice of black is available either. Also coming in black is a natural crepe sole topped by an additional outsole layer and plenty thick for guaranteed perpetuating hiking ability.
