Founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by Bill Bowerman and Phil Knight, the Nike brand is almost synonymous with sneaker culture. As the company behind revolutionary styles like the Air Max series, Air Force 1's and the Cortez, their arsenal of Swoosh adorned footwear is so vast, that their logo is now one of the most recognisable symbols on the planet.
Following on from the Stussy collaboration earlier this year, Nike continue with their retro of the Nike Spiridon Cage. Originally released in 2003 as a running shoe, the rerelease has shown the exposed air unit and original design lines were ahead of their time.
