Founded in the United Kingdom in the late 1950's and now based in Boston, Massachusetts, Reebok was one of the first companies to test spiked shoes. Named after the Afrikaans word for a type of antelope, Reebok was noticed at a US trade shoe in the late 1970s and would be acquired and distributed over there, reaching over a million in sales within a year.
The company has developed now to become a staple in the athletic-wear industry. Creating the first gym shoe in the Ex-Gym Hi, and then onto iconic basketball and tennis silhouettes in the InstaPump and Club C models.
The Phase 1 returns to the shelves making clean and retro a formality for this summer. A low-cut silhouette makes it a no-fuss choice in terms of comfort while perforated details on the upper provide breathability to the Chalk leather upper. Emerald reebok stripes and the Union Jack logo appear on the sides for iconic branding to finish off the look.
