Nike Air Force 1 “Year of the Dragon”

The latest installment of Nike’s annual lunar year-themed AF1’s celebrates the Chinese Year of the Dragon. The design is inspired by the Amur River, which is locally known as “Black Dragon River”. The black satin upper is detailed with embroidered swirling tides and accented with a reptilian leather Swoosh atop a solid white midsole. Multicolor dragon graphics can be found on the woven tongue label and sockliner. Comes in special AF1 30th anniversary boxing. Tier Zero release available from January 28. In-store only. After unleashing its proprietary cushioning technology, Nike Air, in 1978, the brand produced a limited run of 230 pairs of the Air Tailwind model for the 1978 Honolulu Marathon. Staying true to the original, Nike added their vintage treatment to the classic runner in a metallic silver/blue spark color way. The shoe features a non-stretch mesh upper, ankle collar, extended heel counter, air sole and solid rubber waffle outsole. This very specials quickstrike is available at Patta now.
