Following his debut European performance last year, we are thrilled to announce the return of Roc Marciano to Amsterdam on September 23rd, taking the stage at the iconic Melkweg venue.

Hailing from the rich hip-hop tradition of Long Island, New York City, Roc Marciano has garnered immense respect for his evocative, atmospheric beats and intricately stylized lyrics that flow with a stream of consciousness. Early in his career, he briefly associated with Flipmode Squad before forming the short-lived group the U.N. in the early 2000s. He later ventured solo, achieving widespread acclaim for his 2010 self-produced album, 'Marcberg.' Throughout his journey, Roc Marciano has collaborated with notable artists and producers like Q-Tip, Ka, and Action Bronson. His subsequent releases, such as 'Marci Beaucoup' in 2013 and 'RR2: The Bitter Dose' in 2018, featured more experimental production and sharpened lyricism. In the early 2020s, he continued to showcase his versatility with collaborations, including the 2022 project 'The Elephant Man's Bones,' produced by the Alchemist.

Opening the event will be Brainorchestra, a talented producer and rapper hailing from Elizabeth, New Jersey. He is dedicated to preserving the essence of hip-hop through his skillful use of breakbeats and an extensive vinyl record collection. Brainorchestra is known for his euphoric instrumental style, blending personal life experiences with his unique perspective to offer a refreshing take on the genre.
