It's that time of year again! Nike’s seventh edition of Air Max Day falls on a Friday so start the weekend right with a rerelease of the highly coveted Nike Air Max 90 “Bacon” from 2005. Dave Ortiz, owner of New York based boutique Dave’s Quality Meat, designed the shoe with a Sail/Sheen/Straw/Medium Brown colour palette inspired by a late-night trip to the bodega. Whilst eating his bacon, egg and cheese sandwich he came to the conclusion that “everybody loves bacon so everyone will love my shoe” and pitched the idea to Nike two day before his deadline. He thought right. The shoe was an instant success and has dry aged like a fine cut of meat. It is now highly sought out by any shoe collector worth their weight in salt. The shoe is available at Patta Amsterdam through a raffle for all our Netherlands based customers. Get your name on the list and don’t miss out on this exclusive chance to rock the classic colour way.
