HOUSE OF MUSIC 6
After a small hiatus, independent Amsterdam record store, distributor and label Rush Hour is back with the sixth issue of its
non-periodical fanzine House Of Music.
Over the past three decades Rush Hour has cultivated itself into an institute for electronic music, but moreover, it became a haven for versatile music lovers worldwide. RH’s store, distribution and label have promoted numerous releases and artists from all over the world in all different genres and directions, all with an electronic groove that is almost impossible to convey with words but has been, over time, coined ‘the Rush Hour flavour’ by many.
The musical versatility that's in RH's DNA today is quite a lot to digest for anyone. All kinds of music reach our ears every day, but a lot of times we don’t really understand what it is we’re actually listening to. The House of Music fanzine contextualizes some of RH's highlights. The sixth issue holds interviews with Wally Badarou, Kamma & Masalo, John Gomez and D.C.’s Beautiful Swimmers. Sassy J sums up 14 of her favourite records and we get a look inside the astonishing analog Willem Twee Studios & the Analogue Foundation and more. Add House Of Music 6 to your Rush Hour shopping cart for free, grab one at your favourite record stores worldwide, or swing by Patta Amsterdam/ Milan/ London stores for a copy.
