ADCN x Edson - Open call Dutch Creativity Awards
Presented by Edson Sabajo, ADCN President of the Year, this Category is an open call for all kinds of creative projects in any discipline that focus on the theme of ‘Unity’.
The President Award is an open call dedicated to the theme chosen annually by the ADCN President of the Year. Together with Edson Sabajo, our 2022 President, we challenge you to submit a project that involves and encourages coming together through 'Unity'. Projects are welcome that engage in collaboration, capacity building and mutual encouragement, breaking through boundaries and prejudice, and sparking new worlds and communities.
Who can enter?
Anyone can submit a creative project – as an individual, group, collective or company. They can be of all ages and from all disciplines, emerging, experienced or veterans, as long as they are established in the Netherlands.
What can I enter?
Anything from a singularly inspiring poem to a community or corporate project can be entered, by individuals or groups. The work can be new and developed specifically for this Award, or have been made within the eligibility period of 1 May 2021 to 29 June 2022. Moreover, the projects entered in this Category cannot be submitted to any other.
Jury
The projects that go on to the Finalist round will be chosen by a special Jury, curated by ADCN’s President Edson Sabajo. Those projects will then be invited to present a live pitch and/or performance on 9 September 2022 in front of the Jury. Out of 15 Finalists one project will be chosen as the Winner.
Why should I participate?
This year our mission is Unite to Ignite. We’d like to help you spread the impact of your project across the creative industry and beyond, which can lead you to finding community, partners, collaborators and investors that can multiply your positive impact over time.
Every project, regardless of winning an award, will be rewarded with access to one Summer School creative growth session, one ADCN Talent Membership for 2022 and a day ticket to the Dutch Creativity Festival.
Finalists will be mentioned in the Press surrounding the Awards and will be visible in the Awards Gallery.
A selection of projects will be presented at the Dutch Creativity Festival 2022, including the winning project.
The Winner will be announced during the Dutch Creativity Awards Ceremony in October 2022.
The Winner will be awarded an iconic Lamp and €1.000 to spend on the project or personal creative growth.
