Driven by their shared love for hip-hop and sneakers, Edson and Gee started their own small shop in Amsterdam for exclusive sneakers in 2004: Patta. Demand soon started to grow and Patta has grown from a small sneaker store into an internationally respected streetwear brand with stores in Amsterdam, London and Milan. At launches of the most sought-after sneakers that are designed together with major brands such as Nike, New Balance and Vans, people regularly camp in front of the store for days. The Patta owners tell in this episode how they have dealt with setbacks over the years and how opening a high-end store almost costs them their heads.
