Inspired by the urban jungle and daily hustle of the city, the swoosh presents the Air Max 1 London. The different shades of grey and blue represent the stone and concrete structures seen all over the UK’s capital city. Commemorating London’s love for the OG Air Max the original mesh is back on the upper and tongue, tickling the senses of long-time heads. This detailed design is complemented by the use of premium materials. Raw suede and weathered leather are seen all over, referring to the same stone structures. A blue mini swoosh is seen on the side panel accompanied by two other references to two of the city’s most iconic eye catchers. London’s blood vein is seen on the heel with the Thames being embroidered in the same hue of blue as the Nike branding.
